I was a computer programmer in a previous life, but after seventeen years of programming for large corporations found myself disinclined to get yet another programming job.

So I turned to my first love -- reading and writing. I've read romance, science fiction, and fantasy my entire life, and particularly love to combine all of them in the same story.

I believe that in the future there will be a lot of tinkering with the human genome, and I find it fascinating to speculate what effect that will have on human nature and human relationships.
